Laid-off workers from Hale-Halsell are taking matters into their own hands. They held an organizational meeting to address the unemployment benefits process.
Another big concern is health insurance, which they say expired for many of them on January 31st. About 200 people lost their jobs at the troubled grocery wholesaler last week.
The meeting's organizer says the workers are considering a class-action lawsuit against Hale-Halsell.
