A Shawnee company that helps Americans buy cheaper Canadian prescription drugs plans to open up in Tulsa Monday.

R-x-Expressway will offer essentially the same services as R-x-Depot did before a federal judge ordered it close last fall.

R-x-Expressway's founder, Terry Lee, says it will help customers transfer their prescriptions via telephone and fax to a Canadian pharmacy.

Lee says the pharmacy will ship as much as a 90-day supply of medicine directly to consumers at sometimes less than half the cost as in the United States.

Lee says he's not concerned about authorities trying to close his business. But Lee couldn't describe any substantial differences between his business and R-x-Depot.
