(Rochester, Michigan-AP) -- Oral Roberts has moved to Number 1 in the Mid-Continent Conference after beating Oakland, Michigan, 70-to-68.
Freshman Ken Tutt's jumper in the last 3.5 seconds gave the victory to the Golden Eagles Thursday night. The team is six-and-one in the league and 13-and-five overall.
Oakland has lost five straight games. It has also lost five conference games in the last four seconds.
Freshman Caleb Green led Oral Roberts with 20 points. Tutt scored 14 and Matt Gastel added 12.
Mike Helms led scoring for Oakland with 18 points, and Cortney Scott made 17.
Oral Roberts had a seven-point lead early in the second half, but Oakland tied the game with about 12 minutes left. Green scored 12 in less than six minutes, and Tutt hit the clincher.
