Some famous works of art go on display this weekend here in Tulsa. The Philbrook Museum of Art is setting up an exhibition of works by the renowned French sculptor, Auguste Rodin.
The exhibit, titled "Rodin, A Magnificent Obsession", will feature more than sculptures. Philbrook has also scheduled a number of events in conjunction with the exhibit, including dinners representing life in Rodin's day, murals, lectures and educational programs.
Show curator James Peck: "Well, the show consists of 65 sculptures from the Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Foundation and spans Rodin's career from his early age until his death in 1907, and it's really magnificent."
The exhibit runs from January 25th until March 28th at Philbrook.
