A 31-year-old Watonga man died today after a car he was working on fell on him.

Billy Jack Powell was replacing an air conditioner compressor in his two-door 1987 Buick Riviera. He was doing the work near state Highway 33 in an S-O-S Wrecker Service parking lot just east of Watonga.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports that while he was installing the motor mount, the car slipped off the jack and fell on him.
