The re-trial for a man accused of killing an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper is underway.

Trooper Rocky Eales was shot four years ago while serving a search warrant for drugs near Vian in Sequoyah County. The target of the search warrant was Kenneth Barrett, the man on trial.

The first case against Barrett ended in a hung jury. Now, a second jury in Sequoyah County is hearing the case.

The trial should take about three weeks.
