Speed humps used to slow down drivers in neighborhoods are causing new problems. Some angry motorists are taking out their frustrations on other people's property.
As the News on 6 first told you 2 weeks ago, some drivers are plowing their way across front lawns in an apparent protest for having to slow down. Now, the situation is escalating.
One resident caught on video tape a driver crashing through a homeowner's fence. It's the second time the house has been hit. After nearly $5,000 in damage, residents are fed up.
It's gotten so bad; one woman didn't want to be identified when she told us what was going on. “Trash, improper gestures, laughing when we were picking up the pieces, laughing clapping, really unbelievable stuff, I just can't believe adults are acting this way and telling their children it's okay, honk as you go over that speed hump."
