It's not unusual to receive a new phone book every year. And that has many folks wondering what to do with the old, out of date one.
Valor Telecom hopes you'll recycle it. They're partnering with several Broken Arrow schools to collect the 2002 edition of Valor's phone book, called "The Look Up Pages."
They'll donate a dollar to each school for the number of Valor phone books collected. Ed Bryson with Valor Telecom: "We recycle all directories for all the right reasons and the schools get the contributions for bringing them back in."
Wednesday, you can drop of your old Valor phonebooks at Centennial Middle School or Country Lane Elementary School, both in Broken Arrow.
Valor will gladly accept other phone books, but will only make the dollar contributions for the 2002 edition of Valor's "The Look Up Pages."
