(Crescent-AP) -- Logan County authorities have identified three people killed in an apparent murder-suicide as a woman, her 4-year-old son and her boyfriend.

Sheriff Randy Richardson says Kimberly Nault of Edmond shot her son, Rocky Nault, and boyfriend Kevin Backer of Crescent, then killed herself.

Richardson says Kimberly Nault left two unsigned letters, one a will and the other a rambling note that provided no specific reason for the killings.

The bodies were found yesterday afternoon inside Backer's home near Crescent. Authorities believe the Backer and Rocky Nault were killed about 2:30 Monday morning and that Kimberly Nault killed herself between 4 and 5 Monday afternoon.
