Jury selection resumes this week in Sallisaw in the trial of a man accused of killing an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper.

The trial began last week for Kenneth Barrett. He's charged with the September 1999 murder of trooper "Rocky" Eales. Eales was killed during a drug raid at Barrett's cabin.

The trooper was part of a team serving a no-knock warrant. Barrett's attorneys say their client was protecting his home.

This is Barrett's second trial, the first ended in a deadlock.
