Tulsa could be in danger of losing another company. State Farm is in the midst of reorganizing its Central Zone, which includes offices in Tulsa, Missouri and Louisiana. One or even two of those offices could close.
Louisiana has offered State Farm $33-million in incentives over ten years to keep its offices there open.
Mayor Bill LaFortune's office was not aware of Louisiana's offer. The News on 6 also contacted the Tulsa Chamber of Commerce, which refused to comment on what incentives, if any, are being made by Oklahoma.
