A lot of Owasso parents are bursting with pride. They got to watch their kids perform on national television Thursday.
The Owasso Ram's band marched in the five mile Tournament Of Roses Parade and played a patriotic tune before the cameras. The band left the day after Christmas to play in a competition and do some sightseeing before the parade.
Band parent Jeff Westerfield: "they are excited about it, they are really really excited about it."
The Pride of Owasso was in the national TV spotlight for about a minute. Over the length of the parade, they marched in front of 800,000 people.
