(MacArthur-AP) -- A Shawnee man has died in a single car crash in Pottawatomie County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 34-year-old Lee Pena died Sunday after he was flown to the University of Oklahoma Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Troopers say the car Pena was riding in ran off U-S 177 and hit several trees before striking a cement culvert about 1:30 a-m.

Three other people were injured in the accident.

Troopers say none of the occupants were wearing seat belts.
