Hundreds of Oklahoma soldiers are overseas fighting the war on terrorism. Now, one Tulsa soldier decided to walk down the aisle Friday morning before he marched off to a war zone.

Corporal Mike Moore returned from the Sinai about six months ago. He'd planned to get married in March, but the Oklahoma National Guard re-deployed him, this time to Afghanistan.

The couple decided to put their plans for a big wedding on hold. And make the commitment now before Moore leaves in January. Corporal Mike Moore: "Even though I was in the National Guard, this is what I've chosen to do and with everything going around in the world. You never know what that will entail, she's accepted that and she's been very supportive."

But the groom isn't the only one in the wedding party going off to a war zone. Practically the whole wedding party will leave for Afghanistan or Iraq in the next month.

Mike's older brother Chris is getting ready to return to Iraq for a second tour of duty. His mission Friday was to decorate the wedding getaway car. But the fact that his two younger brothers are heading to Afghanistan isn't far from his mind. "I don't want to have to see em go off to a combat zone especially since I'm going off to one too, but I'm glad they're together."

And now there's a new member to this military family. Mike Moore: "it'll be difficult knowing I'm leaving a young wife back here now and whatever problems she goes through it really will be my responsibility also." But the woman by his side gives Mike Moore one more reason to make it home safely.
