The "Pride of Owasso" Marching Band got an early start Friday morning, but they weren't going shoppping. They had a final practice before leaving on a trip to California.

They'll march in the Tournament of Roses parade on New Years Day. It's been a long year of work - and fundraising to make the trip. Band member Ashley Bewley: "Not everyone gets to go there and do that, so it's worth it."

The parade will air on Channel 6, New Years morning. The Owasso High School band is unit number 76 in the parade.
