A late night argument in a Tulsa residential area, leads to a man being run over by a car.
Tulsa Police say it happened around 2 AM Wednesday, near 71st and Memorial. Officers say the victim and another man took a cab home from a nearby bar. After being dropped off, they got into an argument with the driver of a dark colored car.
Police say the situation quickly changed for the worse. Tulsa Police Corporal Mark W Shelton: "The passing car went down the block a little ways, turned around and came back to the victim. They exchanged a few more words. At one point the victim turned to walk off, and that's when the suspect gunned his engine and ran over the victim."
Police say the victim was dragged about forty feet. He is in a Tulsa hospital in serious condition. No word on a suspect. Police continue to investigate.
