(Oklahoma City-AP) -- The deadline to apply for low-interest loans is next month for farmers and ranchers in 35 counties affected by the May storms and tornadoes.
John Van Meter of the U-S Department of Agriculture says the deadline to file an application is January 22nd.
Farmers and ranchers who want to apply for the disaster loans should contact the Pauls Valley County Farm Service Agency.
The 35 counties eligible for the loans are Adair, Beaver, Beckham, Carter, Cherokee, Cimarron, Coal, Craig, Custer, Delaware, Dewey, Ellis, Grant, Haskell, Hughes, Jefferson, Johnston, Kay, Love, Marshall, Mayes, McIntosh, Murray, Muskogee, Nowata, Okfuskee, Okmulgee, Ottawa, Pontotoc, Roger Mills, Rogers, Sequoyah, Texas, Wagoner and Washington.
