We less than six shopping days left until Christmas. Which means you still have a chance to help someone who might otherwise go without this holiday.

The Salvation Army and The News on 6 are once again sponsoring the Angel Tree. News on 6 anchor Terry Hood tells us there are still some angels waiting to be adopted.

It's not too late. Hundreds of angels are patiently waiting on the tree. And you have a chance to make sure some needy boy or girl can have a Merry Christmas.

Brad and Sheila Smith said they've always talked about adopting an angel. This year, they finally did it, twice. They adopted a little boy and a little girl.

The Salvation Army lists the angels' age, height, size, and Christmas wishes. All you have to do is shop for what's on the list.

The Smith's said they're own children are all grown-up, so it was fun to take a trip to the toy store. The couple says they were happy to load up on gifts for two kids they've never met.

Sheila Smith: "we're very blessed and our children are very blessed and its time to give back to the little ones that aren't as blessed as we are."

You can deliver gifts to the angel tree until Monday.
