(Chicago-AP) -- Boeing officials are keeping a tight lid on a much-awaited decision by its board of directors on whether to proceed with the new 7E7 jet.
The board is meeting in Chicago and all signs indicate the company will go ahead with the new plane.
Tulsa is one of several cities hoping to be the site of the plant where the jet will be assembled. But a Seattle newspaper reports the plane will be built in Everett, Washington.
Tulsa is offering Boeing a $350-million package of incentives.
A Boeing spokesman says no announcement will be made until Tuesday, after a special meeting with employees in Seattle.
