A Tulsa businessman has big plans for Brookside. Henry Aberson already owns Aberson's Alley, which is considered by many to be one of the hippest, swankiest clothing stores in town.
But now, he's making plans to expand into other kinds of retail. Aberson will start an exhaustive renovation of the old Legends nightclub building next month. He says it will have a sophisticated, industrial look, similar to what he's seen in New York and Europe.
Aberson isn't saying who the tenants will be, but he says they'll be as unique as the building's design. "It'll be a mix of local, upscale retail with small national chains that have very few locations nationally."
Aberson says there will be room for about four to five tenants in the center. The entire project should be completed by this time next year.
