Thousands of Tulsa kids spent Friday collecting gifts for less-fortunate children who live a world away.
It's all part of National Shoebox Gift Collection week. The idea is to fill empty shoeboxes with toys, supplies or necessities, along with a personal note.
The boxes are then hand-delivered to children living in areas where war, poverty, disease and natural disaster are a way of life.
