(Stillwater-AP) -- Oklahoma State remains in the picture for a Cotton Bowl bid, a game that could help the Cowboys' recruiting.

Coach Les Miles says playing in the Houston Bowl last year helped OSU sign recruits such as Brad Girtman, Marque Fountain and Ricky Coxeff.

A win over Baylor on Saturday would leave OSU 9-and-3 overall, 5-and-3 in the Big 12 and a contender for an invitation to January 2nd Cotton Bowl in Dallas.
