The National Park Service is investigating vandalism at the National Memorial in Oklahoma City. A symbol of peace has been now been tarnished.

The Jesus Wept statue, near the Memorial was damaged. Someone threw a large chunk of concrete at it, several times.

Groundskeeper Don Queen: “I picked up pieces of this, and tiny pieces of the finger.”

Father Bruce Natsuhara with St Joseph's Old Cathedral: “I only pray that they find the root of the anger that precipitated this action and hopefully resolve it.”

The vandals didn't stop there. They also broke out several stained glass windows at the United Methodist church across the street.
