(Oklahoma City-AP) -- State Insurance Commissioner Carroll Fisher says he's ready to run for the US Senate.
Fisher said recently he would talk to friends around the state about making the race. He told an Oklahoma City radio station Thursday he'll concentrate on winning the Democratic nomination in a race against Congressman Brad Carson and Jim Rogers.
He says he expects his recent DUI conviction to come up during the campaign and says he'll stand up and handle the criticism.
