A father and his 3-year-old son are dead following a house fire early Thursday morning.

Tulsa Fire officials say neighbors reported the fire about 12:30 AM. When crews arrived, they found a young boy standing outside a home at 3163 South 34th West Avenue.

He told them others were still inside the burning home. Crews rescued John Sennison and his son, Lewis Sennison, but they both died at a local hospital.

Investigators suspect something near the stove started the fire. Damage to the home is estimated at about $25,000.
