LANGSTON, Okla. (AP) _ Roy Henderson scored 30 points and Langston overcame a 17-point halftime deficit to beat Oklahoma City 100-94 in an NAIA basketball game Tuesday night.
Henderson added 12 rebounds for the Lions, who also got 26 points and nine rebounds from Jimmie Mackey and 19 points, nine rebounds and six assists from Skip Jackson.
Langston hit only 10 of 31 shots in the first half and went into intermission down 48-31.
But the Lions sank 21 of 35 shots (60 percent) in the second half, outscoring the Stars 69-46.
Eric Tatum paced Oklahoma City with 21 points and three rebounds. Derek Pearson and Jamaal Harymon each had 17 points for the Stars.
