The Tulsa Area United Way has a lot to celebrate. It marked the end of its 2003 fundraising campaign Tuesday night.

Despite the tough economy the organization announced it reached and perhaps slightly surpassed its goal of $23-million. The good news came during a dinner program at the Expo Square Pavilion.

It's still not too late to support the United Way, which helps to fund more than 250 programs in Tulsa, Creek, Okmulgee, Osage, Rogers, and Wagoner counties.
