(Des Moines, Iowa-AP) -- Women's basketball teams in the Big 12 conference are going to be experienced this season.
With so many top players returning, it's not a stretch to think the league race will be a rerun of last season, when Texas won the conference title by one game over Kansas State.
In fact, that's just how the coaches picked the top three places in their preseason poll, with Oklahoma fourth and Colorado fifth.
It certainly will be an experienced conference.
Eight of the 10 first-team all-conference players return, as do all five on the second team. Three of the Big 12's four All-Americans are back, including first-team pick Nicole Ohlde of Kansas State.
Oklahoma should be better with Caton Hill back from a knee injury.
