A tight budget may force Family and Children's Services to cut the job of a bi-lingual caseworker.
Grace Guerrero works with the Hispanic community in her role as a caseworker. Many of the families she works with have disabled children; she helps them with doctor's appointments. The caseworker helps with doctor appointments and to understand what services are available.
Gail Lapidus with Family and Children's Services, "we're very upset too that we have the possibility of not being able to re-fund a family support specialist for the Hispanic community in east Tulsa."
Some concerned parents will meet with Family and Children's Services this week to see if there's any way they can help the agency find funding for the position.
