A high-speed chase with a stolen vehicle lands two people behind bars. The chase started in north Tulsa shortly after 4:30 AM Tuesday.
An officer spotted a suspicious vehicle he thought might have been stolen. When he tried to stop the car, the driver took off. The chase went from US Highway 75 to Interstate 244 then down the Turner Turnpike towards Oklahoma City.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers put out stop sticks, which flattened the right side tires. After a couple of miles, the driver stopped and two people jumped out near Bristow. They were quickly arrested.
A third person who bailed out at the beginning of the chase remains at large.
