(Tulsa, Oklahoma-AP) -- Tulsa quarterback James Kilian is the Western Athletic Conference's offensive player of the week.

Kilian accounted for five touchdowns _ three rushing and two passing _ in the Golden Hurricane's 56-28 win over Texas-El Paso Saturday.

Kilian also rushed for 121 yards on 14 carries and threw for 219 more on 15-of-22 passing.

The junior from Medford rushed for touchdowns from three yards, 18 yards and 49 yards out and threw scores from 54 and 32 yards.

Kilian is the first TU player to win the conference's offensive award this year. Three Tulsa defenders have won defensive player of the week honors.
