(Oklahoma City-AP) -- State Representative Dan Boren of Seminole says he's considering running for the Second Congressional District seat.
Boren says he expects to decide sometime this week whether to get into the race for the seat being vacated by Democratic Congressman Brad Carson.
Carson says he's running for the US Senate being vacated by Senator Don Nickles.
Boren is a Democrat and the son of University of Oklahoma President David Boren. He currently lives in the Fifth Congressional District, but says he's ``a stone's throw'' from the Second District and is considering buying a house in the Second District.
