(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Governor Brad Henry is teaming up higher education and commerce officials to find new ways to promote Oklahoma's economy.
Public forums are planned tomorrow across the state to get ideas about how regions of the state can promote Oklahoma's economy.
Chancellor Paul Risser says higher education has been pegged as the key to development.
Risser says those participating in the forums will be asked to prioritize suggestions made by steering committees. They also will be asked for new ideas.
During August and September, 23 teams developed a draft plan to improve Oklahoma's economy. Team members include people who participate in business, industry, education and government.
