(Fort Sill-AP) -- Fort Sill officials have identified three more of the six soldiers from the post who were killed in an attack on a US Army helicopter in Iraq.

Among the casualties are Staff Sergeant Paul Velazquez of San Diego, Sergeant Keelan Moss of Houston, Sergeant Ross Pennanen of Oklahoma and Staff Sergeant Joe Wilson of Mississippi. The hometowns of Pennanen and Wilson weren't listed.

Moss, Pennanen and Wilson were members of the Fifth Field Artillery Regiment.

Major General Michael Maples and Brigadier General Richard Formica also announced this afternoon that six others are among 20 soldiers wounded in the attack.

Yesterday's attack was the deadliest since the start of the war. Formica says many of the soldiers, including 10 from Fort Sill, were on their way home for rest and recuperation leave.
