(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Oklahoma City-based Kerr-McGee said Wednesday it turned a profit in the third quarter thanks to higher gas and oil prices.
The energy company is reporting income of $288-million, or 19 cents a share. That's up from a loss of $86.4-million, or 86 cents per share, during the third quarter a year ago.
