The search for suspected murderer Scott Eizember is now in its 9th day. Creek County searchers say they are tired and frustrated. But they're very determined to find Eizember.

There are some new developments to report. The latest is a possible burglary at a home in Slick. That's about 10-miles southeast of Bristow, And just outside the perimeter that's been set up. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol and Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation are looking into a car that might have been stolen in that area as well. Authorities aren't sure whether Eizember is connected to either case.

Searchers are confident they are closing in on Eizember. They're sending out five-man teams in the dark with night vision equipment to help in the search. Authorities say they're so close; lawmen won't take a break until Eizember is found. OHP trooper Lt Ron Davis: "we did pick him up on the Fleer system last night, the infrared sensing that we use with the aircraft which, it has it's limitations, it's not the, it's not magic, but its an excellent tool and it did pay off last night. We confirmed he is in there."

Eizember is suspected of fatally shooting an elderly Depew couple. Creek County authorities say he also shot a 16-year-old boy twice and beat the boys' grandmother. Lawmen have been looking for Eizember for more than a week now. They say with the cooler temperatures, they're confident he will come out in the open.

Authorities say Eizember is heavily armed and extremely dangerous. If you have any information that could help in the search, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol has set up a tip line. That number is 918-367-2755.
