A five vehicle accident between Owasso and Tulsa sends one person to the hospital. It happened during the morning rush hour on US Highway 169.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a woman tried to slow down because of heavy traffic. When she did, she was hit from behind causing a chain reaction. A motorcycle rider was pinned under a van.

He is at the hospital, his condition is not known. No one else was hurt. The accident caused a huge traffic tie-up on both north and southbound 169.
