(Tulsa-AP) -- A Tulsa man who was trying to walk across Interstate 244 was killed after being hit by two cars.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Tim Denton was hit in the westbound lanes of the interstate shortly before midnight.

Troopers say Denton was hit first by a Chevrolet Suburban and knocked into another lane where he was hit by a car.
