(Stillwater-AP) -- Oklahoma State University is searching for a vice president of institutional diversity.
The new position is one of O-S-U President David Schmidly's initiatives and eliminates the position of associate vice president of multicultural affairs.
Search committee chairman Lee Bird says the person chosen will be responsible for increasing diversity and equal opportunity for all faculty, staff and students. The person will also develop and implement goals and activities to promote diversity at all five O-S-U campuses.
