(Oklahoma City-AP) -- The body of a man wanted in the shooting death of his ex-wife has been found in a drainage ditch in southeast Oklahoma City.
Homicide investigators combing a field found Christopher Todd Robinson's body about a mile from where his ex-wife's body was found a day earlier.
Captain Jeffrey Becker says 35-year-old Robinson died of a gunshot wound and police suspected suicide.
Officers on horseback and in a helicopter were searching the area because they believed Robinson could be hiding there and that he was a threat to himself.
Earlier Wednesday, authorities found the car Robinson was driving near an Oklahoma City hospital.
Robinson was being sought in the death of his ex-wife, 29-year-old Angela Jean Robinson, whose body was found Tuesday inside a car in Valley Brook, a small community near southeast Oklahoma City.
