(Supreme Court-AP) -- The U-S Supreme Court Monday rejected the appeal of a former FBI official who says he was defamed in a book about the Oklahoma City bombing.
Oliver Revell was appealing a federal appeals court ruling that said he failed to prove the author of the book acted with ``actual malice.''
Revell accused David Hoffman of defaming him in the book ``The Oklahoma City Bombing and the Politics of Terror'' by questioning whether Revell had advance knowledge of the 1988 bombing of Pan Am Flight 103.
Revell also says the book portrays him as a co-conspirator in the April 19th, 1995, bombing of the federal building in Oklahoma City.
Revell is a retired associate deputy director of the FBI.
