The Git-N-Go at 33rd and Yale has shut its doors. The company said the store was scheduled to be closed a while back, but stayed opened at the employees request.

The store has been robbed twice in the past few months. In one of those robberies, clerk Paul Silkey was killed.

A Git-N-Go spokesperson says the store did not close because of those robberies.
