An elderly Tulsa man is alive, thanks to an alert AEP-PSO worker. Kenny Surrett was on a routine call when he heard someone moaning inside the home where he was working.
Surrett found a neighbor who told him an older man lived there. When he beat on windows and doors and didn't get anyone, Surrett had his dispatcher call Tulsa Police. Officers were unable to get inside the house because the door was chained. "I said I got bolt cutters in my truck so I went out and got the and he authorized me to cut the chain. So I cut the chain off and they went in and found him."
Rescue crews took the man to the hospital. His name and condition haven't been released.
