(Norman-AP) -- A southbound Burlington Northern Santa Fe train traveling from Kansas to Texas derailed Tuesday morning in Norman.

Norman police Lieutenant Tom Easley says no injuries are reported, and the train was not carrying any hazardous materials. One railcar blocked a road until being removed about noon.

Railroad spokesman Joe Faust says the tracks will be cleared by 10 Wednesday morning. He says the cause of the derailment is still under investigation.

The freight was en route from Hutchinson to Galveston.
