CHOCTAW, Okla. (AP) _ A collision involving a school bus Monday morning left five people, including four students, with minor injuries, police said.
The four students and the driver of the car that collided with the bus were taken to a local hospital with cuts and bruises, said Police Chief Billy Carter.
The names and ages of those injured were not released.
The bus was carrying 24 students ranging in age from about 12 to 15, Carter said.
The crash occurred about 7:40 a.m. at an intersection in Choctaw as the bus was turning into a westbound lane of traffic.
``The other vehicle was eastbound,'' Carter said, ``we have not fully determined whether the vehicle failed to stop or yield, but it wound up hitting the bus about dead center on the driver's side.''
The bus driver was not injured.
