A south Tulsa Elementary School looks a lot better. The kindergarteners at Grissom Elementary thought the school's garden had been bare long enough.

That's why they spent the afternoon planting pansies and mums to brighten the walk to class. The kids say the wanted to make something with their hands that would be beautiful for everyone who walks past.

Several local businesses donated the flowers and even some fall decorations to brighten things up.
