A security guard on probation for shooting a student last year was transferred out of the Tulsa School district late Wednesday afternoon.
A Tulsa County District Court judge gave Ronald Littles one-year probation in January after he pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge of recklessly handling a firearm.
The charge came after Littles shot at a suspended student outside the Tulsa High School for Science and Technology, but hit another student by mistake. Littles recently began working as a security guard at Edison Preparatory School.
The principal of Edison said he was told Littles was cleared of everything and had no idea Littles was on probation. Littles has now been transferred to a non-school assignment.
