(Washington-AP) -- The Federal Trade Commission is moving ahead with its national do-not-call registry.

F-T-C officials say they're confident that an Oklahoma City judge's ruling sidetracking the anti-telemarketing list will be thrown out by Congress or the courts.

They are encouraging consumers to continue signing up for the list.

The Senate and House were expected to consider legislation today that would ensure the free government service goes into effect as scheduled next Wednesday.
