The first project from Tulsa's Vision plan is officially underway. The Tulsa Air and Space Museum broke ground Tuesday morning on its new location near the entrance to Mohawk Park.
Mayor Bill LaFortune says the developments are an important part of Tulsa's Vision plan. "It's a project that makes sense for Tulsa and for this region, in terms not only of its ability to attract visitors, but also as an educational tool, for all our kids and our grandkids."
The museum will include a new planetarium, along with new tributes to Tulsa's rich aviation history.
