More Oklahoma troops are preparing to serve overseas. An estimated 400 soldiers will deploy in December from Oklahoma Army National Guard units in Sand Springs, Stillwater and Oklahoma City.

They'll lead a five-state task force that will be in charge of training the Afghan national army.

Brigade soldiers will be sent to Fort Carson, Colorado, for training, before they take off for Afghanistan.
